Who am i?
Name: Jesper Lund
Birthdate: 26/7, 1980
Hello.
As you can see my name is Jesper. I'm born and raised in a town called Eskilstuna outside Swedens capital Stockholm.
At the end of summer of 2004 I began to figure out a domain-name for personal use.
I wanted a name that looked good, but actually meant something, and several suggestions came up.
- fullkorn - wholemeal
- auspuff - german word for exhaust, a proposal from a friend
- vinkelslip - powertool
- crap
- etc...
- as some of you can see, some arn't english but swedish names
Finally i found the word quip, sounded nice and looked good, so... Thats when i bought quip.se. But it wasn't until 3/4 - 2005 that quip.se got some real content.
Before that it had only been used for testing, examples and work for friends.
The word quip actually has a meaning and it wasn't until i heard it in a movie that i heard it in a complete sentence. (can't remember what movie it was)
